Our approach
Krue is a Braintied product for contractors. We use information to provide and secure the service, operate the features you choose, support your account, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information we collect
- Account and business information: name, email, phone number, company details, preferences, authentication records, and subscription status.
- Contractor workspace content: clients, jobs, estimates, line items, invoices, schedules, crews, time entries, materials, notes, files, and other records you enter or import.
- Voice, image, and communications content: recordings, transcripts, photos, email, SMS, WhatsApp, call, and client-portal content when you use those features. Content may include information about your clients and workers that you provide to Krue.
- Payment and connected-service information: billing identifiers, transaction status, connected Stripe account status, and identifiers or tokens needed for integrations such as QuickBooks, Google Calendar, maps, or messaging. Krue does not store complete card numbers.
- Device, usage, and diagnostics: browser and device type, IP address in hosting or security logs, pages and features used, consent choices, crash reports, request metadata, and performance information. Your browser supplies its timezone locally; Krue does not send your IP to a timezone geolocation service.
We collect information directly from you, from people you authorize, automatically when you use Krue, and from services you connect to Krue.
How we use information
- Provide, personalize, maintain, and secure Krue.
- Generate AI-assisted estimates and other outputs you request.
- Deliver emails, messages, calls, reminders, documents, and payments you initiate.
- Synchronize data with services you connect and act on your authorized instructions.
- Operate subscriptions, customer support, fraud prevention, and account recovery.
- Measure product reliability and improve features, subject to your analytics choices.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
AI, transcription, and automated features
When you request an AI, voice, transcription, mapping, or routing feature, Krue sends the content needed for that request to the configured service provider. This may include recordings, transcripts, job details, photos, addresses, or prompt context. Krue does not use your workspace content to train a Krue foundation model. You must review AI-assisted output before relying on or sending it.
Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information only as needed to operate Krue, follow your instructions, protect the service, or comply with law. Depending on the features you use, provider categories and representative providers include:
- hosting, database, storage, and background processing (Vercel, Supabase, Inngest);
- AI, voice, embeddings, and transcription providers;
- email, SMS, WhatsApp, and voice delivery providers (including Resend and Telnyx);
- payments and connected-account services (Stripe);
- accounting, calendar, maps, and other integrations you enable;
- consent-gated product analytics and essential error or performance diagnostics.
We may also disclose information in response to lawful process, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate notice and protections.
Security
We use safeguards appropriate to the service, including encrypted HTTPS transport, encryption at rest where supported by our hosting and storage providers, tenant and workspace access controls, database row-level security, HttpOnly authentication cookies, signed webhook verification, rate limits, audit records, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or loss will never occur.
Retention
We retain workspace records and transcripts while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Source audio from voice estimates and recorded calls is removed from active Krue-controlled storage no later than 30 days after recording or upload. Account deletion begins immediately, but limited financial, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, processor-log, legal, and backup records may remain for their applicable retention periods. Connected providers may retain records under their own legal obligations.
Cookies, local storage, and tracking choices
Krue uses cookies and local storage required for authentication, security, preferences, and core functionality. Product analytics and session replay are enabled only when you consent. Essential security, error, and performance diagnostics may operate without marketing or analytics consent. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not change that practice.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied request. You can edit many records in Krue, export estimates as PDFs and clients as CSV, manage analytics consent, unsubscribe from marketing, or delete your account in Settings. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception applies.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for making a valid privacy request.
International processing and children
Krue and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Krue is a business service and is not directed to children under 18; we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as Krue changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material.
